Recently Keighley Market Pet Store raised £447 for the national charity Hearing Dogs For Deaf People. There were demonstrations of how trained dogs can help deaf people and Ennis, a Whippet/Greyhound cross breed showed his skills in front of 230 members of the public. Thank you to everyone who donated money, especially to James Wellbeloved ,the pet food company, who donated feed prizes for the tombola and lots of other goodies. Keighley Market Pet Store used the event as an opportunity to hand out poo bags and dispensers for dog dirt, to encourage people to clean up after their pets.
